The SPDR® S&P® Biotech ETF seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the S&P® Biotechnology Select IndustryTM Index. The S&P Biotechnology Select IndustryTM Index represents the biotechnology sub-industry portion of the S&P Total Markets IndexTM. The S&P TMI tracks all the U.S. common stocks listed on the NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ® National Market and NASDAQ Small Cap exchanges. The Biotech Index is a modified equal weight index.
