Official Investment Strategy

The SPDR® S&P® Dividend ETF seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the S&P® High Yield Dividend AristocratsTM Index. The S&P High Yield Dividend AristocratsTM Index is designed to measure the performance of the highest dividend yielding S&P Composite 1500  Index constituents that have followed a managed-dividends policy of consistently increasing dividends every year for at least 20 consecutive years.
